The good news is many people were familiar with Goodwill as a place to donate used clothing and household items as well as a place to get great bargains on the same at their thrift stores. The bad news was that Goodwill has a number of other divisions with their organization that are also great programs, including their commercial services division which does contract work for a variety of manufacturers while creating jobs for their Goodwill clients. They needed a way to piggyback on the Goodwill brand name but also establish an identity for the commercials services division.</p>
<h3>Solution</h3>
<p><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-41" style="margin-left: 20px; margin-bottom: 20px;" title="Goodwill-Video-Internet-Marketing-Indiana" src="http://www.internetmarketingindianapolis.com/images/Goodwill-Video-Internet-Marketing.jpg" alt="Goodwill-Video-Internet-Marketing-Indiana" width="233" height="187" align="right" />Goodwill chose to partner with Fusework Studios to develop a new Internet Marketing presence for the Commercial Services portion of their business. Fusework learned of the high rate of satisfaction of their customers and the professionalism of the staff and facility.  We decided to “tell their story” with a high quality video that featured testimonials from satisfied customers and lots of footage of their operation in action.  Both were strong points of difference.  The video was then placed on the home page of the new web site with a prominent marker to attract attention.  The home page also included a quick link to request a quote for their services.  Visitors to the site can immediately associate with the Goodwill brand but also quickly learn what the division does.  This is an example of prominent multimedia usage and a conversion point to make it easy for visitors to connect with Goodwill Commercial Services.</p>

Fusework was challenged with a focus on  staying consistent with The Arc National brand recognition, but providing The Arc of Indiana its own unique identity. Following the branding process, Fusework wrote, produced and edited eight educational videos. In addition to being available on-line, all eight videos were bundled and put on a fully authored DVD for distribution to all of The Arc of Indiana’s local chapters.</p>
<p>Next, Fusework Studios took on the complete overhaul of The Arc’s Web site. All of these goals went into the development and design of the site and resulted in intuitive navigation for users, an e-Newsletter sign up, a RSS news feed, a video gallery, internal site search capability, an online donation portal, and more. The site also features a focus on social networking with direct links in the core navigation to The Arc’s Facebook and YouTube pages as well as their blogs.  The Arc also recently started using Twitter.</p>

This plan incorporated consultation on new media tools, blogs, a new social networking site, design, and Internet based promotions. FWS created strategies and tactics that tied back to every objective and goal of the GICC. As an ongoing effort, the GICC continues to evolve and become a modern Chamber with industry leading technology and a tool set to reach the business community of tomorrow.</p>
